Discovery

Understanding the Problem

The problem that was identified was that there is a gap in providing a comprehensive, all-in-one platform that seamlessly integrates trip planning, booking, and real-time updates, along with personalized recommendation for travelers all in one place.

Secondary Research

Secondary Research

I began by reviewing online sources like Google, Reddit Forums, Facebook Groups. Patterns started to emerge:

  • Lack of consolidated information in one place
  • Manual data entry for booking confirmations
  • Flight information is not updated in real-time & hard to manage
  • Overwhelming user & not straight forward to use
  • Insufficient personalized recommendations

The Gap & Solution

Despite the abundance of travel apps, there is a significant gap in providing a comprehensive, all-in-one platform that seamlessly integrates trip planning, booking, real-time updates, and personalized recommendations in one place..

Goal Statement

The goal of the project was to design a comprehensive, all-in-one platform that seamlessly integrates trip planning, booking, real-time updates, and personalized recommendations without the need to juggle multiple platforms or deal with outdated information.

From User Pain Points to Low-Fidelity Wireframes

Each screen reflects a direct response to the challenges discovered in user research—like finding lighting accommodations, receiving safety alerts, and planning evening walks. The wireframes laid the groundwork for a mobile experience focused on safety, clarity, and confidence.
